Experimental Study on Reaction Kinetic Characteristics of RP-3 Fuel Vapor Catalyst

Oxygen-consuming inerting technology is expected to be the primary method for suppressing aircraft fuel tank fires and explosions in next generation, with catalytic reactor serving as its core component. However, properties of developed catalyst have yet thoroughly studied, a reaction kinetic equation needed support further investigation reactor. Thus, this study focuses on performance RP-3 vapor, test bench built analyze characteristics. Initially, we tested steady-state variation vapor concentration (FVC) temperature fitted an empirical equation, providing fundamental data subsequent experiments.
